UAE Announces Comprehensive Model to Combat Digital Violence Against Women and Girls

The Federal Competitiveness and Statistics Centre collaborated with the Ministry of Interior to start the UAE model for fighting digital abuse of girls and women during the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women’s 69th session. The new project demonstrates the UAE’s commitment to promoting women’s rights and achieving worldwide gender equality. The initiative uses 35 legal instruments matched with 46 awareness efforts developed by 22 partner institutions to make an all-around strategy to fight digital violence.

Strengthening National Frameworks Against Digital Violence

As Director General of the International Affairs Office at the Ministry of Interior Lieutenant Colonel Dana Humaid Al Marzouqi states that the UAE builds its progressive path based on treating everyone equally and fairly. The nation stands ahead globally to protect everyone, especially women and girls because of its advanced stance. To protect women from digital risks UAE authorities have launched multiple programs that supply women with both knowledge and technology protection for their online presence. These programs help women join in creating a strong civil society and working toward what tomorrow will bring.

As the Managing Director Hanan Mansour Ahli affirmed that the guide reveals how UAE protects women’s digital rights nationally and boosts its ranking as a global leader in gender equality. She stated that empowering women needs more than laws and requires creating a safe atmosphere that supports their growth toward their dreams. Under 30 gender empowerment metrics the UAE leads the world due to its innovative approach to gender equality and demonstrates its responsibility to make life better for everyone in the society.

Advancing Global Leadership in Women’s Empowerment

The UAE Regulatory and Preventive Model helps the nation update its laws regarding fast digital development changes. The model highlights better cooperation between public-private parties and global organizations as a way to protect women and girls from digital abuse. The guide shows that leadership in the UAE trusts women by appointing them to major roles across education, healthcare, business, technology, and government positions.

The national approach delivers strong economic results that improve how people view the nation on the world stage. The country holds first place in 38 regional rankings and ranks in the top 10 globally for 34 indicators plus 30 women-related global competitiveness indicators. The guide shows the UAE’s commitment to Goal 5 Gender Equality by using national institutions to develop plans to stop women and girls from facing abuse.
