Tom Cruise, one of the world’s highest-paid US actors, is set to attend the Middle East premiere of the much-awaited film “Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One” at a red-carpet event at the Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), on June 26.
Mission Impossible’s screening will also be attended by director Christopher McQuarrie. Other cast and crew members of the film will also attend the screening of “Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One” in the UAE.
Some scenes of “Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One” were shot in the Liwa desert in Abu Dhabi and the Midfield Terminal in Abu Dhabi Airport. In 2021, the film was shot for almost two weeks with the support of the Abu Dhabi Film Commission, a government agency that supports the development of Abu Dhabi’s film and TV industries. In 2018, a jump sequence for “Mission: Impossible – Fallout” was shot in Abu Dhabi.
Khalfan Al-Mazrouei, acting director general of the Creative Media Authority, said, “Hosting the premiere of ‘Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One’ is an honour for the UAE.” Khalfan Al-Mazrouei further said that the UAE is one of the top film and TV locations in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.
Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One
Reportedly, Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One can be the first half of the Mission: Impossible franchise’s two-part finale. The Action/Adventure film is set to release in July. The film is directed by Christopher McQuarrie and distributed by Paramount Pictures. It is adapted from Mission: Impossible.

When the shooting of the film was completed, McQuarrie wrote on Instagram, “Congratulations to the best cast and crew on the planet. Thank you Paramount Pictures for believing in the impossible. Thanks to our friends and families for their limitless love and support during the making of this film.”
