ABU DHABI – United Arab Emirates President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan arrived in Amman on Wednesday for an official visit to Jordan.

His Royal Highness Sheikh Mohammed was greeted by King Abdullah II of Jordan upon his arrival at Amman Civil Airport in Marka.

Bishr al-Qasaune Prime Minister of Jordan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreigners Ayman Al-Safadi. The reception was also attended by several Jordanian dignitaries.

An official reception was organised for His Highness Sheikh Mohammed, with a guard of honour playing the national anthems of the United Arab Emirates and Jordan.
Earlier, a Royal Jordanian Air Force aircraft met His Highness’s private plane and escorted the presidential plane to its arrival in Amman.

The delegation accompanying His Highness Sheikh Mohamed included Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice-President, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Presidential Courts, Sheikh Hazza Al Nahyan, Deputy Ruler of Abu Dhabi bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Sheikh Nahyan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Zayed Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Sheikh Lieutenant-General Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan and other sheikhs and senior officials.
