Qatar Airways, one of the world’s leading airlines, is set to enhance its passenger experience by partnering with Starlink to offer complimentary high-speed internet connectivity on selected flights. Qatar Airways recently became the biggest airline to work with Starlink.

Qatar Airways has taken a bold step to elevate the in-flight experience by selecting Starlink, the innovative satellite internet service developed by SpaceX, the private aerospace manufacturer led by Elon Musk.

This groundbreaking partnership aims to provide passengers with seamless, high-speed internet access during their flights, reaffirming Qatar Airways’ commitment to delivering top-notch services.

The five-star onboard experience provided by Qatar Airways will be further enhanced by Starlink’s service. Passengers can use the 350 Mbps ultra-fast WiFi speeds once the service is operational for a wide range of internet-based applications, including gaming, enhanced web browsing, streaming their preferred entertainment and sports videos, and much more.

Through an agreement between Qatar Airways and Starlink, customers will be able to access Wi-Fi seamlessly on board with just a single click. The world’s largest satellite internet constellation, designed and run by SpaceX, the Starlink SATCOM system, powers the fast and low-latency network. The pre-launch stage of the rollout strategy for the entire Qatar Airways fleet is presently being carried out by Starlink and Qatar Airways.
