Sindalah Island: NEOM’s first destination officially opens to the public

NEOM’s Sindalah Island is officially open to the public. This is a notable development as it marks the first NEOM destination to open. The Saudi giga-project spans a staggering 840,000 square metres in the Red Sea.

Sindalah Island is going to house three luxury resorts, featuring a blend of hotel rooms and serviced apartments. You can also find nearly 40 restaurants on the island, including 9 casual eateries and 5 fine-dining spots. But that’s not all.

The project is going to offer a broad range of under-the-sea experiences such as snorkeling and scuba diving. The objective is to lure in 2,400 people per day by 2028. Interestingly, Sindalah Island is not going to have roads and cars, but likely all the ambience.
