H.H. Sheikh Mohammed Visits ADIHEX 2026, Celebrating UAE Heritage, Hunting and Equestrian Culture
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, attended the 23rd Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition (ADIHEX) also held at the ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi.
The 2026 edition, with its theme ‘A Legacy of Pride’, will take place from the 28th to the 6th September bringing together brands, institutions and companies from UAE and the world to strengthen the international presence of the exhibition.
Showcasing UAE Heritage and Innovation
On the tour, Sheikh Mohammed inspected national and international pavilions offering special products and technologies of hunting, horse riding and falconry. He was also updated about innovations and developments towards sustainability, resource efficiency and conservation of cultural heritage.
The exhibition showcases the integration of traditional Emirati values and practices with modern technology. Visitors will have the opportunity to delve into the cultural heritage and traditions of falconry, equestrianism and desert pursuits, including the use of traditional farming techniques.
ADIHEX Reaches Its Largest Edition
The 23rd edition is the biggest ADIHEX ever in terms of exhibition space and number of exhibitors. It is planned during an extensive, full ten-day programme for the first time, occupying all rooms of the ADNEC Centre.
The expansion is in alignment with the increased interest of the visitors and exhibitors’ sector in the UAE as well as on an international level. It also boosts Abu Dhabi’s role as a network for experts, followers, decision makers and players in the heritage and outdoor sectors.
15 Sectors Under One Roof
ADIHEX 2026 has been organised by the ADNEC Group, strategic partner of Emirates Falconers’ Club, and it is organised in 15 specialised sectors. These activities involve hunting, equestrian, heritage preservation, desert adventure and outdoor activities.
It also provides an opportunity for businesses to bring their products and solutions to market and to tie up cultural preservation with business and technological development. The high level of participation reflects economic activity around the UAE’s heritage sectors.
Sustainability Meets Cultural Preservation
Building a sustainable evaluation through heritage is a key area of focus for ADIHEX 2026. There are examples of traditional practice as well as new solutions that help to make the use of resources more efficient, and to foster responsible interactions with natural environments.
This is due to the continued expansion and progress of the exhibition, and the way it keeps exposing younger generations to authentic Emirati traditions,” Sheikh Mohammed said, commending the exhibition. The event is therefore not only a marketplace, it’s also a cultural education and heritage preservation platform.
