1. Build a Living Room Camp

Make a big fort in the house from blankets, cushions and chairs. Light up with battery-powered lanterns, add some books and snacks to make it a lovely campsite. Children tell stories and can read out loud or have a picnic in their homemade shelter.

2. Organise a Board Game Tournament

Revamp and jazz up an evening game with an easy weekend tournament. Families can play several rounds of Catan, Ticket to Ride, Monopoly and/or Uno, and then declare a family champion.
