RRR Sequel Confirmed, Ram Charan And Jr. NTR To Return

The response to the film RRR in Gulf countries was exceptionally positive, both in terms of commercial success and critical acclaim. 

The movie grossed over ₹100 crores (US$13 million) in the region, indicating its immense popularity among audiences. Critics praised the film for its action sequences, performances, and visual effects.

Gulf News described RRR as a visual spectacle with outstanding action sequences and top-notch performances by Jr. NTR and Ram Charan. 

Khaleej Times hailed it as a must-see for action film fans, applauding its thrilling moments and mind-blowing special effects. 

The National highlighted the film’s lasting impact, commending its storytelling that encompassed both epic and intimate elements.

The success of RRR in Gulf countries not only demonstrates the film’s appeal but also reflects the growing popularity of Indian cinema in the region. 

Several factors contributed to RRR’s success in the Gulf. The star power of Jr. NTR and Ram Charan, who are highly revered in Telugu cinema, generated significant interest among Gulf audiences.

Currently, the sequel to the blockbuster film RRR, is currently in the works. The film’s screenwriter, V Vijayendra Prasad, who is also Rajamouli’s father, revealed this during an interview. 

He mentioned that the sequel is likely to be directed by a Hollywood filmmaker under Rajamouli’s supervision.

RRR gained immense acclaim in 2022 and achieved great financial success, grossing over Rs 1,236 crore worldwide. 

Additionally, Vijayendra Prasad also shared that SS Rajamouli will establish his own production house and that his next project. 

The upcoming project is titled as codename of SSMB 29. It will be an adventure film starring Indian renowned actor Mahesh Babu.
