The Ooredoo Qatar Major Premier Padel 2025 is being hosted at Doha’s Khalifa International Tennis and Squash Complex, with high quality padel action on display. World No.1 men’s pair, Spain’s Arturo Coello and Argentina’s Agustin Tapia, made it to the quarterfinals after beating the Spanish-Argentine duo Juan Cruz Belluati and Ignacio Sager in straight sets, 6-2, 6-4. They are ready to play with the No.8 seeded player Pablo Cardona and Leonardo Augsburger who qualified for the next round after beating the Mexican pair Miguel and Nino Deus by 7-6, 6-4.
In the women’s bracket, top-seeded Spanish duo Ari Sanchez and Paula Josemaria demonstrated their superiority with a dominating 6-0, 6-0 win over Spain’s Marta Talavan and Russia’s Ksenia Sharifova. Their sparkling performance booked them a quarterfinal spot where they will face the tournament’s No.2 seeds, Spain’s Gemma Triay and Argentina’s Delfina Brea. Triay and Brea qualified after mounting a comeback to beat fellow Spaniards Mariana Gutierrez and Victoria Iglesias in a three-set thriller, 2-6, 6-4, 6-1.

Tournament officials such as Tariq Zainal, President of the Asian Padel Federation and Secretary General of the Qatar Padel Federation have also appreciated the success of the event.
