According to CEOWORLD magazine, Qatar is proud to announce that it has surpassed the UAE, as the best in the Arab World and the eighth-best country overall in their Quality of Life Index 2025 report, with a score of 96.66 points, ahead of the US in ninth place.
In the overall list, the Top seven – Monaco, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Ireland, Switzerland, Norway, and Singapore were above Qatar.

It is self-evident it has a high-quality living standard and is happy being from Qatar instead of being from other countries globally. The CEOWORLD index used responses from over 258,000 individuals taking part in the survey across the globe, reviewing 199 countries using 10 metric groupings(ten elements to determine quality of life) and reports on variables in countries based on, stability, economic and political transparency, equality in incomes, educational systems, health care systems, and public safety overall quality of life when individuals are not to be harmed or impacted negatively by natural disasters or war. Burundi was last at the low end of the list, behind Madagascar, Afghanistan, South Sudan, and Sierra Leone.
Qatar’s substantial global ranking reflects its long period of envisioning and delivering betterment in quality of life. With tremendous progress in health and social services, as well as smart cities, the country’s accomplishment continues to advance both regionally and globally. For this reason, the study clearly illustrates Qatar’s position as a regional leader and global example of progress, prosperity, and people-focused development.
