Kim Kardashian made a sensational revelation, during a candid interview, that at the tender age of 14, she found herself caught in a real-life crime drama when she took to stand to testify at a murder trial. The reality star recalled taking to stand back in 1998 during the murder trial of Dee Dee Jackson, her then-boyfriend TJ Jackson’s mother. 

Kim’s teenage bliss was shattered when her boyfriend’s mother was tragically found dead in the pool in her boyfriend Don Bohana’s California home. She shared that she was really close with Dee Dee Jackson and described testifying in court as an “insane experience”. 

Kim revealed she had to testify and was there for her boyfriend. She made the brave decision to step into unfamiliar territory that shaped her life in unimaginable ways. It was also a pivotal moment that showcased her unwavering courage and determination for the truth.This murder case ran alongside the infamous OJ Simpson trial. Don Bohana was convicted for the murder. 

The reality TV star said it was an intense moment in life as her dad Robert Kardashian was going through many trials. These court cases may have inspired Kim Kardashian to get involved in the criminal justice reform movement. In 2020, she told Time that if people do a crime, they have no way out but to do the time. But she believes it’s a matter of what is the fair amount of time.

Kim also showcased The Justice Project, a documentary that champions the causes of individual inmates vs. the U.S. prison population. Kim successfully lobbied for the release of Alice Marie Johnson in 2018
