Jazeera Airways Enhances Operational Efficiency with Self-Handling Services at Kuwait Airport

Jazeera Airways has introduced the launch of self-handling facilities for its fleet at Kuwait International Airport another milestone in its continued drive towards upgrading operational efficiency and improving customer experience. This is part of the airline’s overall strategy towards simplifying operations and lowering operating costs.

The airline operates a fleet of 24 Airbus A320 and carries about five million passengers per year with a 31% market share of passenger traffic at Kuwait International Airport. Jazeera Airways serves Kuwait to a worldwide network of cities with over 18,000 flights annually.

Marwan Boodai, Jazeera Airways Chairman reiterated the company’s dedication to assisting in the growth of Kuwait’s aviation industry. He added that the launch of self-handling services is one of the main successes in the airline’s long-term strategy and aligns with Kuwait’s Vision 2035 objectives. This project follows the success of past cooperation with the General Directorate of Civil Aviation such as the opening of specialized departments for aircraft maintenance, flight training and airworthiness management.

Boodai also suggested additional expansion plans such as new projects for providing employment opportunities for Kuwait graduates. With the introduction of new aircraft into its fleet, Jazeera Airways is set to enhance service quality, reduce execution times for operations and reduce costs thereby ensuring a better travel experience for its customers.

The launch of self handling services also further reinforces Jazeera Airways leadership position in Kuwait’s aviation sector and a significant contributor to the nation’s vision for growth in the future.
