Dubai Inaugurates First Proton Therapy Centre

Dubai is making a significant advancement in cancer care by launching the first proton‑beam therapy centre in the region. Proton therapy uses charged particles that provide improved targeting of tumours, and less damage to the healthy tissues surrounding the tumour than with conventional radiation.
