UAE’s Debanjali Kamstra crowned Mrs Earth 2023

Debanjali Kamstra, a businesswoman and the mother of two from Dubai, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), is the new Mrs Earth. Championing the UAE’s message of sustainability at the competition, she becomes Mrs Earth 2023.

Debanjali Kamstra is the first woman to represent the UAE at the global competition of Mrs Earth. She beat 45 other women to win this year’s title.

On Thursday night, she took home the Mrs Earth 2023 crown for the UAE. She wore a yellow jeweled gown at the event at the Philippines’ Okada Manila hotel.

Debanjali Kamstra told The National, “I couldn’t believe that I would be the person that will bring this crown to the UAE. And on top of that, this is the year of sustainability, which is a big, big thing for us.” She expressed happiness and wished for other women who want to represent their country.

She told the Khaleej Times, “Can you believe that a dream also comes true? This moment was the fruit of 2 years of manifestation and immense hard work with a lot of support.”

In 2021, she became the first woman to represent the UAE at the Mrs World contest. However, she missed the title because she was placed second runner-up. Mrs America Shaylyn Ford won the contest and became Mrs World. Mrs Jordan Jaclyn Stapp was the first runner-up. Debanjali was the first woman to represent the UAE at the Mrs World contest.

Debanjali Kamstra is originally from the Republic of India. She has lived in the UAE for 15 years. She is an entrepreneur managing three organisations in the country.

Earlier this month, she won the Mrs Earth UAE 2023 competition. She beat 20 other contestants to win the title. With the victory, she became the first beauty queen to represent the UAE at the Mrs Earth 2023 competition.
