Why Is Abu Dhabi Bringing Energy and AI Leaders to the Same Table?
The UAE’s capital is making compelling arguments for the increasing integration between the energy and technology industries. The fourth ENACT Majlis was attended by over 100 global leaders. The event highlighted the need to look beyond fuels and hardware to tackle the challenges of AI, investments and adapting to an uncertain global future in the future of the energy sector.
Energy AI Leaders Face a Changing Global Landscape
The energy security paradigm is not just about supply and demand. The impacts of geopolitical changes, increasing consumption and the rapid pace of technological advancements are driving energy systems to increase resilience and flexibility.
At the ENACT Majlis, global leaders were discussing the challenges which influenced, or will continue to influence, the outlook of the energy sector, and how it can transgress beyond its limits of disruption instead of merely reacting to it.
The gathering was attended by senior executives from 14 Fortune 500 firms, who totally are worth over $2 trillion annually. The presence also showcased the amount of investment and expertise in industry that could be useful for long term energy stability. Pulling these decision makers into the same forum allows for a chance to align strategic priorities and business decisions.
Energy AI Leaders Put Artificial Intelligence at the Centre
AI applications have increased across various areas of energy production, management and distribution. During the Majlis, participants discussed the possibilities of how AI can be used to further increase energy production efficiency, lower carbon emissions, and create smarter energy infrastructure.
This is a program that is more than just about new technology. Abu Dhabi’s vision grasps the fact that innovation is much more than just a company’s capability. It requires a common purpose, investment and a context for scaling new solutions.
Energy AI Leaders Build Partnerships Before ADIPEC 2026
The fourth ENACT Majlis took place in collaboration with key industry stakeholders, such as ADNOC, XRG and Masdar. As a precursor to the ADIPEC 2026, the discussions have a broader industry context.
Policy direction may be set by governments, operational needs be identified by energy companies, solutions may be developed by technology companies, and investors may be invited to bring solutions to market. The Majlis facilitated an opportunity to bring all these interests together and examine what patterns could be developed to welcome investment, bolster energy resilience and economic growth.
Energy AI Leaders Reflect Abu Dhabi’s Long-Term Ambition
The government of Abu Dhabi recognizes that the increased interconnectedness of energy, AI, finance and government sectors is apparent, by bringing them together to facilitate a dialogue.
The ENACT Majlis thus has a sense beyond networking at the high-level. It provides a forum for key decision makers to coordinate on risks, to establish areas for linkages and put forward visionary goals into measurable investments. While the industry gets ready for ADIPEC 2026, collaboration is key to Abu Dhabi’s energy narrative.
