Wadi Wurayah Biosphere Reserve has been designated as the United Arab Emirates’ inaugural natural UNESCO World Heritage Site, garnering international fame for one of the nation’s most spectacular natural sites. The Reserve is in the dramatic Hajar Mountains in Fujairah and covers an area of 225 square kilometres, and features mesmerising landscape, thriving biodiversity and centuries of cultural history.
