How to Win Big at Qatar’s Hala Summer Shopping Festival: Raffle Rules, Participating Malls, and Minimum Spend

The Visit Qatar’s biggest shopping event of the year, the Hala Summer Shopping Festival is running from August 1 to August 31, 2026. In addition to special discounts on shopping and special menus throughout the season, shoppers can enjoy exciting raffles each week to win luxury cars, cash and shopping vouchers.

Understanding the QR200 Raffle Rule 

A simple raffle is used for the Hala Summer Shopping Festival. QR200 spent in participating outlets = 1 raffle entry voucher. The more you spend, the more entries you earn.

For instance, if you spend QR600 you’ll get 3 entries, and QR1,000 will give you 5 raffle vouchers. Eligible receipts can be added together on the same day from different stores in the same participating location to hit the buy minimums needed to enjoy a promotion.

Shop at Participating Malls

The festival is spread across some of Qatar’s top shopping and lifestyle centres, so you can easily join in and enjoy shopping and entertainment.

The locations participating are Place Vendôme (Lusail), Doha Festival City, Mall of Qatar, Villaggio Mall, City Center Doha, Landmark Mall, Doha Mall, Al Hazm, Tawar Mall and Gewan Island/West Walk. Items can be picked up at participating retailers, restaurants, supermarkets and entertainment venues at the destinations for a raffle draw.

How to Register Your Receipts?

Once you have finished shopping, retain all your receipts and proceed to an official Visit Qatar customer redemption desk, which is offered inside any participating malls. The receipts must clearly indicate the name of the store, date of purchase, the amount of the transaction, data on registration of tax.

Bring all receipts along with your Qatar ID, G.C.C passport or tourist passport. Upon confirmation, your receipts will be stamped and you will register your raffle tickets in the official database at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MOCI).

Weekly Draws and Exciting Prizes

The live raffles for major shopping locations such as Place Vendôme, Doha Festival City, Mall of Qatar and Villaggio Mall will rotate every month during August. Often there is live entertainment, activities for the family and children’s performances.

There are prizes of luxury cars to be seen from around the festival as well as cash prizes of QR10,000 to QR100,000 and giveaway shopping and dining coupons for participating outlets. All the validated vouchers continue to adhere with the official draw schedule.

Tips to Maximize Your Chances

Make fewer, bigger purchases less than QR200. It can be beneficial to add some of the eligible receipts together within the same participating mall to allow more entries without over-spending.

Be sure to keep your receipts and voucher confirmations until the end of the festival; winners may need to present not only identification, but a copy of their receipts and voucher confirmations when claiming prizes.
