Qatar, UAE, Jordan Visits: What Al-Shaibani’s Diplomatic Tour Means for Syria
Assad al-Shaibani the Syrian Foreign Minister has announced he will start his visit to Qatar, the UAE, and Jordan. This will be his second trip abroad after taking office in the Syrian interim government.
Al-Shaibani said, “This week, I will represent my country, Syria, on an official visit to our brothers in Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, We look forward to these visits contributing to support stability, security, economic recovery, and building distinguished partnerships.”
According to the reports Foreign Minister al-Shaibani made his first official foreign visit to Saudi Arabia. He met with Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan.
Diplomatic efforts by Al-Shaibani are aiming to rebuild the trust and cooperation of different nations with Syria.
These visits to Gulf nations Qatar, the UAE, and Jordan are expected to open discussions on rebuilding Syria. Syria is trying to set itself. Stay Tuned for updates on the upcoming visit.
