Dubai Airport Super Busy Until July 17: What You Need to Know

Dubai International Airport, also called DXB, is expecting a lot of travelers right now. From now until Wednesday, July 17, they think 3.3 million people will use the airport. That’s a huge number! Dubai Airport is now covering the spots in the top 10 best airports in the world.
Busiest Days at the Airport
The airport was extra busy from Friday, July 12 to Sunday, July 14. About 840,000 people came through during those three days. Saturday, July 13 was the busiest single day, with around 286,000 people in the airport. That’s about 10,000 more people than on a normal day!
Tips for Traveling Through DXB
Because it’s so busy, the airport wants to help you have a good trip. Here are some tips:
1. Come Early: If you’re flying with Flydubai, get to the airport four hours before your flight. For other airlines, come three hours early.
2. Check-In Online: If you can, check-in online before you come to the airport. It saves time!
3. Know the Rules: Check how much luggage you can bring and what things are not allowed.
4. Be Ready for Security: Put metal things like your phone and watch in your bag. Follow the rules about liquids.
5. Use Smart Gates: If your family has kids over 12, you can use special gates to go through passport control faster.
Dubai Airport is special and different from other airports because it offers a wide range of services for passengers going and coming, providing additional facilities for passengers connecting and transferring through the airport.

Therefore, based on annual traffic passed through the airport Dubai Airport clinched the title of the world’s busiest international airport for the successive ninth year in April 2024. This means, that Dubai has a record of the highest CONNECTOR status in the world since more people fly to other countries from Dubai airport than from any other airport in the world.
Last year, 90 million people used Dubai Airport. You can fly to 229 different places in 99 countries from there!

The country that most people fly to from Dubai is India. Last year, 9.8 million people flew there. The next most popular places were:
– Saudi Arabia (4.9 million people)
– United Kingdom (4.6 million people)
– Pakistan (3.7 million people)
