Published

The Michelin Guide revealed the 4th of July 2024 Dubai’s latest list of restaurants for 2024 at the glamourously posh One&Only One Za’abeel. It starts with the food guide divided into different categories in order to introduce the city’s best cuisines. Here’s a breakdown of the restaurants in each category:
Two Michelin Stars (Exceptional cuisine, worth a detour)
Four restaurants in Dubai now hold this prestigious rating:
- Row on 45 (New entry) – Jason Atherton’s latest venture, offering a 17-course fine dining experience.
- Il Ristorante-Niko Romito
- Stay by Yannick Alléno
- Trèsind Studio
One Michelin Star (High-quality cooking, worth a stop)
Dubai now boasts 15 one-star restaurants:
- La Dame de Pic Dubai (New)
- Orfali Bros (New)
- Sagetsu by Tetsuya (New)
- Smoked Room (New)
- 11 Woodfire
- Al Muntaha

Michelin Green Star
No new restaurants received this distinction in 2024. The three Green Star restaurants are:

Michelin Selected Restaurants
A total of 106 restaurants have been recognized in the guide, though not all have stars. These selected restaurants represent the diverse culinary landscape of Dubai.
Michelin Special Awards
The guide also presented special awards:
- Sommelier Award: Michael Mpofu of Celebrities by Mauro Colagreco
- Opening of the Year: The Guild
Still, one should mention that Dubai has been lacking the presence of three Michelin-starred restaurants that are seen as a top benchmark in the world. Nevertheless, the city remains a living breathing gastronomic hub that draws foreign talent and has a great choice of every type of eating establishment.
