Yasmin Abdel Aziz returns to Ramadan 2025 Drama Marathon

Yasmin has decided to return to her artistic activity strongly during the coming period as she makes a comeback through the Ramadan 2025 Drama Marathon after an absence from the last season and is also preparing to return to the cinema after an absence of six years.

The actress is planning to break her cinema absence with a fresh project involving Ahmed Al-Sabki and Khaled Galal. In addition, she recently signed a contract to present a drama in the upcoming marathon, involving screenwriter Amr Mahmoud Yassin.

The untitled drama marks the duo’s third collaboration after the 2020 TV series ‘We Nehib Tanu Leh’ and the 2021 project ‘Elly Malosh Kbeer’. “It will be a romantic series because all the people are requesting this from me,” Yasmin noted.

Born in 1980, Yasmin is an actress and former model. She enrolled in the Modern Academy in Maadi and made her debut at the age of 13 in commercials, eventually embracing acting. She has been nominated for several roles in cinematic and television productions.

Yasmin got married to businessman Mohamed Halawa in 2001. They have a son and a daughter together. But they announced separation in 2018. In May 2020, Yasmin revealed her marriage to actor Ahmed Al-Awadi, but they announced divorce in January 2024.
