Boeing’s order includes 55 777-9s and 35 777-8s, taking Emirates’ 777-X order book to a total of 205 units. The airline also confirmed that it has ordered 202 GE9X engines to power these additional 777Xs. This underlines Emirates’ position as a major player in the airline industry.
