The ministry stresses that the first priority right now is to protect civilian lives and make sure that humanitarian aid gets to those in need quickly and safely. The UAE strongly condemned the attack by Israel on the headquarters of the Qatari Committee for the Reconstruction of Gaza.
Joint Condemnation: UAE and Arab-Islamic States Decry Israeli Bombing of Qatari Headquarters in Gaza
Other Islamic groups and countries, besides the UAE, spoke out against Israel’s bombing of the headquarters of the Qatar Committee for the Reconstruction of Gaza late Monday.
Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman, Egypt, and Jordan, as well as the Gulf Cooperation Council and the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation, spoke out against the Israeli airstrikes on the committee’s headquarters. This committee is in charge of rebuilding Gaza.
The Qatari Foreign Ministry had earlier in the day called the Israeli bombing “blatant aggression.” Qatar was against the attack because it was seen as part of the occupation’s plan to target civilians, hospitals, and refugee shelters.
Israel was also told by Qatar to “stop giving false reasons and information for these attacks.”

In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) said that the UAE strongly disagrees with targeting this committee and all other groups and civilian buildings in the Gaza Strip. The ministry says the most important thing right now is to protect civilians’ lives and make sure that humanitarian, relief, and medical aid can get to those in need quickly, safely, and without any problems.
The ministry said again that there needs to be an immediate ceasefire to stop more deaths. They also said that it is important to protect civilians and civilian institutions, as required by international law and international treaties, and that they should not be targeted during the conflict.
As a way to keep the situation in the Occupied Palestinian Territory from getting worse, the UAE asked the rest of the world to step up their efforts for a comprehensive and fair peace. They also asked that the region stay away from new levels of violence, tension, and instability.
We have several times noted efforts by the UAE to send humanitarian aid to Gaza.
Saudi, Kuwait, Oman, Egypt, and Jordan are criticizing Israel’s act of bombing Qatar’s headquarters in Gaza.
In a statement, the Saudi Foreign Ministry said that the “blatant aggression by the occupation forces on the Qatari committee’s headquarters” was unacceptable. They also said that they stood with Doha and asked the rest of the world to stop the “violations committed by the occupation authorities” right away.
The Kuwaiti Foreign Ministry also said the bombing was wrong and called it a “crime” and a “heinous act.” It asked the rest of the world to “stop these Israeli violations that are done under clear pretexts and lies that are known to the world.”
The Omani Foreign Ministry strongly condemned the bombing of the Qatari committee’s headquarters, showing support for Doha and stating that this attack is a new and clear breach of international law that continues Israel’s brutal attacks on the Palestinian people.
As a “new blatant extension of Israeli violations,” Egypt also said that the attack on the headquarters was wrong and stood with Qatar in its opposition to “this heinous attack.”
The Foreign Ministry of Jordan said that the Israeli bombing of the Qatari Committee for the Reconstruction of Gaza was “reprehensible war crime” and added to Israel’s list of crimes.
The Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) said that the headquarters bombing was part of “ongoing military aggression targeting Palestinian civilians and civilian infrastructure in the Gaza Strip.”
Amid escalating tensions, the UAE, along with Arab and Islamic nations, strongly condemns Israel’s bombing of the Qatari Committee for Gaza’s Reconstruction. Emphasizing the urgency to protect civilian lives, humanitarian aid, and medical assistance, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs calls for an immediate ceasefire and global efforts towards a comprehensive peace. Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman, Egypt, and Jordan join the chorus of condemnation, labeling the attack a blatant violation of international law. The Organisation of Islamic Cooperation denounces the incident as part of Israel’s ongoing aggression against Palestinians. The unified stance reflects regional solidarity for justice, peace, and the protection of civilians during conflicts.
