UAE Rejects Port Sudan Authority’s Decision, Reaffirms Support for Sudanese People

The Port Sudan Authority’s move to break off diplomatic ties with the UAE has not been accepted unequivocally by the UAE. The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs, through a public statement, indicated clearly that, being one of the warring factions, the Port Sudan Authority has no right to represent the true government/people of Sudan. The move comes one day after the International Court of Justice refused to hear a case filed by the Port Sudan Authority.
