In line with its prominent Tourism Strategy 2031, the UAE is working on attracting AED 100 billion in tourism investments and welcoming 40 million hotel guests annually. With this strategy, the UAE is working on becoming a leading global tourism destination, leveraging its rich cultural heritage, modern infrastructure, and diverse attractions.

According to the World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC), the UAE hosted 29.2 million international tourists in 2024, marking a 15.5% increase compared to the previous year. As per projections, the figure could reach around 45.5 million by 2033, making the UAE a global tourist destination.

Earlier, the UAE launched the fifth edition of the “World’s Coolest Winter” campaign, to showcase the country’s unique winter experiences to both residents and international travelers. As part of the campaign, the UAE hosted a plethora of activities, including leisure pursuits, shopping, business opportunities, and nature experiences.

The UAE has become a hot pick for tourists, especially those from regions experiencing colder climates, owing to its pleasant weather and warm temperatures, according to Arabian Business.

The UAE offers a pleasant winter climate and diverse natural landscapes, including oases, mountains, vast deserts, lagoons, islands, and pristine beaches, emerging as the ideal destination for adventure seekers and travelers seeking unique experiences. At the same time, the authorities are working on developing the necessary infrastructure and services to further strengthen the country’s status as a leading winter tourism hotspot.
