The Crown Prince of Dubai, who is also Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence of the UAE has arrived in Kuwait today on an official visit. Which aimed to enhance relationship between the two gulf nations UAE and Kuwait. His Highness was welcomed by Sheikh Fahad Yusuf Saud Al-Sabah, Kuwait’s First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defence, and Minister of Interior, alongside other high-ranking officials.
Minister of Defence of the UAE, Hamdan bin Mohammed shared an official update on his X handle with caption, “I was delighted to meet today with His Highness Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Emir of Kuwait; Crown Prince His Highness Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Sabah; Prime Minister His Highness Sheikh Ahmed Abdullah Al-Sabah; and First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defence, and Minister of Interior His Excellency Sheikh Fahad Yusuf Al-Sabah. Visiting Kuwait always feels like being among family and friends. Through this visit, I look forward to strengthening the ties that have united our peoples for over 60 years, as well as enhancing cooperation, and advancing the shared vision of our leaders. We wish Kuwait continued prosperity and success, guided by the leadership of its Emir and strengthened by the determination of its people.”
The visit can be a turning point in UAE-Kuwait ties. Shiek Hamdan expressed his commitment to further enhancing the relationship between the two countries. He emphasized the growing cooperation under the leadership of UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and the Emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah. Their shared vision continues to shape the development of various fields, with a focus on prosperity and mutual progress.
During his visit Sheikh Hamdan will meet with Kuwaiti leaders to strengthen the partnership between both gulf nations UAE and Kuwait. They will discuss opportunities to work together in areas like trade, defense, and sustainable development.
According to Gulf News Mohammad Abdullah Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs, and Reem bint Ebrahim Al Hashimy, Minister of State for International Cooperation, will also take part in the meetings.
