Dubai’s Coca-Cola Arena brings you Harishankh, Kings in Concert on the 14th of June, 2024, where the attendees would get to experience a magical musical evening when both of the melody Kings’ Shankar Mahadevan and Hariharan perform for them. The concert will also feature renowned instrumentalist Prakash Ulliyeri and famous Veena player Rajesh Vaidhya who would add a classical touch to the star studded list.
The event is arranged and presented by AMSHI Ads and Events and is expected to be a banger.
About the Venue
The event is going to be hosted at the Coca Cola Arena, Dubai, UAE. It is the only Arena in the Middle East that operates the whole year round, is fully indoor and air conditioned, and is the largest of its kind.
The arena is managed and owned by ASM Global, the largest venue management company globally. It houses state of the art lighting and sound systems including 400 square metres of modular and ribbon illuminating LED screens. The roof of the arena can support up to 190 metric tonnes of equipment thus providing the option of hosting a range of shows inside it. The lighting system also provides a strip light system that illuminates the City walk at night and changes colours according to the shows happening inside the Arena.
Location of the Concert
The venue is an 8 minutes walk from the Burj Khalifa Metro Station, the nearest and is located within the City’s urban lifestyle destination The Walk, one of the most visited areas by visiting tourists and locals. The Coca Cola Arena is situated by The Walk, Sheikh Zayed Road, Dubai and is one of the main attractions of the area other than the surrounding shopping centres.
Event Timings
The Harishankh – Kings in Concert is set to begin at 7.30 pm local time, while the gates open for the attendees to come in by 6.00 pm local time providing enough time to settle down and enjoy the show from the start.
Tickets and Venue Guidelines
Every underage child needs to be accompanied by their parents or a person above 18 years. Children above the age of 12 months need to be brought in after purchasing a ticket by their guardian.
Tickets for the evening are available and can be bought from www.coca-cola-arena.com and www.visitdubai.com. The e passes for the show would be emailed a week prior to the event.
About the Artists
Shankar Mahadevan:
Shankar Mahadevan is an Indian Musician, Singer, and Composer having recently won a Grammy award for the Best Global Music Album named “The Moment” with his fusion band Shakti. Shakti comprises founders McLaughlin, and Zakir Hussain along with newer members Shankar himself, Rajagopalan, and V Selvaganesh.
Mahadevan was awarded an honorary doctorate from Birmingham City university last year for his contribution towards music. He is also a member of the Musical Trio Shankar Ehsaan Loy featuring him, Ehsaan Noorani and Loy Mendonsa who have created magic in the Bollywood.
Hariharan:
Hariharan’s full name is Hariharan Anantha Subhramani. He is an Indian Playback Singer and Film Score Composer having worked in the Indian Music Industry for 50 plus years. He is also a Ghazal and Bhajan Virtuoso and has been in the limelight in different nations for his trademark voice. His work in films like Roza and Bombay remains top in the musical playlist irrespective of the fact that it has been more than 25 years since the release of these tracks.
Prakash Ulliyeri:
Prakash Ulliyeri is an Indian musical gem who plays the harmonium and keyboard. Dubai would be longing for his performance along Shankar Mahadevan and Hariharan. He has been in this musical journey since a quarter of a century and remains one of the top grossing instrumental artists in India.
Rajesh Vaidhya:
Veena Virtuoso Rajhesh Vaidhya is a classical music artist who has been working with various music composers since a long time both in the Bollywood and in the South. He also has been performing with his Veena internationally and has been on musical tours in countries such as the USA.
