The Security Industry Regulatory Agency (SIRA) has outlined its preparations for the upcoming New Year’s celebrations. More than 45 fireworks displays across 32 locations in Dubai have been granted licenses, signaling the transportation of over 38,000 tonnes of fireworks.
In order to ensure the highest standards of safety and security, the agency’s inspection team conducted meticulous visits to all designated locations, verifying safety distances, assessing audience safety and monitoring display durations.
In addition to these precautions, the Security Industry Regulatory Agency highlighted emergency measures for public evacuation. It has advised everyone to stay away from the safety areas designated for fireworks. The sections have been pre-determined by specialists.

The annual Sheikh Zayed Festival in Abu Dhabi is one of the country’s largest cultural events. It is expected to continue welcoming visitors every day until March 9, offering scores of people a great opportunity to spend memorable times with friends and family.
