Operating on weekends with two trips per day, the service is set to redefine travel convenience and accessibility.

Fulfilling UAE’s Tourism Vision:

Ismail Hassan Al Balushi, the Director General of RAKTA, highlighted that this service launch aligns perfectly with the directives of the UAE’s leadership. It aims to boost tourism and streamline the movement of individuals, catering to both residents and tourists. The UAE’s commitment to strengthening ties with neighboring countries is further exemplified through such initiatives.

RAK Transport Authority’s Forward-Thinking Strategy

This groundbreaking service launch is also a testament to RAKTA’s strategic vision for the years 2023-2027. The authority is dedicated to fostering public transportation and advocating shared mobility as sustainable, reliable, and secure solutions for the community. By extending their services to include a new cross-border route, RAKTA demonstrates its commitment to enhancing connectivity options for residents and visitors alike.

Efficient and Affordable Road Travel

Mohamed Hashem, Director of the Quality and Operations Control Department at RAKTA, detailed that the service will commence its journey from Ras Al Khaimah’s main bus station. Along its route to Musandam’s Khasab, it will make stops at seven different locations. Importantly, ticket prices have been set at an affordable rate, ensuring accessibility to all segments of the community. This approach is in line with the goal of making public transportation a practical and attractive choice for travelers.

Streamlined Operations and Reduced Travel Time

RAKTA has meticulously coordinated with all relevant authorities within the UAE to guarantee the seamless operation of this service. By doing so, they aim to reduce travel time for passengers and enhance the overall travel experience, contributing to the success of the land trip service.
