The Primary Health Care Corporation is back-to-schoolinging with the 2026-2027 campaign which kicks off on August 30 and concludes on September 10, 2026. The initiative is part of the School Health Program and Services and uses the theme “Healthy Bodies Build Strong Nations.

This year’s campaign is focused on incorporating everyday activities and promoting students’ all-round health and wellbeing. In addition to physical health, parents are encouraged to adopt healthy lifestyle habits and school building developers to design health provisions into the day-to-day life of students including provision of healthy sleep, healthy food, healthy water, a healthy balance of screen time, and healthy moods.

What the PHCC Campaign Offers?

Habit Tracking and Student Self-Assessment

To help students keep track of habits that are important, a new weekly tracking card and self-assessment tool are being introduced at PHCC. Children are able to log in and monitor certain areas including sleep, water, physical activity and screen time, and gain an understanding of how behaviour influences wellbeing.

School Competition Promotes Healthy Habits

Students will be inspired to share health information creatively in a dedicated inter-school competition. Learners will create video footage, posters, and/or presentations around themes such as balanced nutrition, emotional health, physical fitness, and responsible screen use.

School Clinics Support Student Healthcare

PHCC school health clinics serve as an important link between education and healthcare. Provided the provided campaign information, student health records are linked with PHCC’s eHR system thus enabling school nurses to be able to keep track of student health issues currently at school as well as coordinate referrals and care as needed.
