Miley Cyrus and Selena Gomez, in a delightful surprise for fans around the world, are set to release their highly awaited singles on the same day, August 25. Both pop sensations have been supporting and showering each other with love.

Selena took to Instagram with a throwback video of a Hannah Montana episode showing her character Mikayla Skeech feuding with Miley’s Hannah while working the phones at a telethon. The Climb singer replied “Selenagomez and I are both dropping our new SINGLEs SOON. I SAY WE #USEDTOBEYOUNG.”

This sweet exchange sent fans into a frenzy. And soon both their accounts were flooded with comments. “Double the awesome.” “Women supporting Women/Icons supporting Icons.”

Miley Cyrus joked Selena and Miley announcing new singles within 1 hour of each other. “I decided to release “Used to be Young” on August 25 because this particular date historically has been important to me personally and in my career.”
