Lazio’s goalkeeper, Ivan Provedel, scored a last-minute goal in the match. This goal drew people’s attention and led the match to a draw. The match ended in a 1-1 draw, and both teams earned one point in Group E.

Provedel has become the first goalkeeper to score in a Champions League match in the last 13 years. He is also the only fourth goalkeeper in the history of the Champions League matches to do so. 

Lazio goalkeeper Ivan Provedel made a remarkable contribution for his team. In the closing moments of their UEFA Champions League Group E match against Atletico Madrid, he scored an unexpected goal. 

Provedel headed in an equalizer during stoppage time, and successfully secured a 1-1 draw for Lazio.

This moment not only earned Lazio team a valuable point but also made Provedel a part of Champions League history as one of the rare goal-scoring goalkeepers in the matches.

This match marked the first match between these two teams in the UEFA Champions League. Surprisingly, the match resulted in both Lazio and Atletico Madrid earning one point each in Group E of the competition. We hadn’t expected that the match would end like this!

The Lazio goalkeeper Ivan Provedel expressed his happiness and said that he can’t forget the night of this match in his entire life. He said that his team doesn’t deserve to lose this memorable Champions League match. He and his team are more motivated now.

Diego Simeone,  the manager of Atletico Madrid commented that his team played a good second half. He said that his team had clear goal-scoring chances. He expressed his positivity despite the last-minute goal, which led the match as a 1-1 draw.
