iPhone 16 series launch: Everything on the release date, features and more

The iPhone 16 series promises to be a flagship model having a range of upgrades. The various rumours and alleged leaks have increased the curiosity of the public even more. There are talks that all the models starting from iPhone 16 Pro, iPhone 16 Pro Max, and iPhone 16 Ultra are going to get upgrades.

The possible launch date is going to be in September. There are a host of updated features in the list from Artificial Intelligence upgrades to new cameras.

iPhone Release Date;

Apple holds its annual conference in September every year, therefore it’s expected that the timeline for the iPhone 16 launch has to remain the same, most probably September 20, 10 days after the Apple Annual conference. 

Again these all are assumptions and we have to wait for the company’s formal event invite to be sure about the release.

iPhone 16 Design;

There are rumours that the iPhone 16 is going to feature a larger screen (6.1 to 6.9 inches) and will have innovative screen technology resulting in thinner bezels or the frame around the phone’s screen.

Apple has historically produced display upgrades in its pro line of products. Thus it is expected that we will see the same thing happening next month.

The Last iPhone Plus;

The iPhone Plus may be the last of Apple’s regular phones. According to sources, the company is planning to cut down supply of larger screen products and replace them with ultra thin premium phones. The next is reportedly to be iPhone 17 Slim.

AI Integration;

AI Integration is to be observed in iPhones after Apple decided to follow the footsteps of its rivals Samsung and Google as they upgraded new AI tips and tricks in the flagship phones.

The iPhone 16 range is going to have its Ai system termed as Apple Intelligence in it. It also brings an integrated ChatGPT experience including dedicated tools for proofreading, and rewriting text in a different tone, having new Siri features for tech support and answering personalised text messages. These features are to be included with the iPhone 16 lineup along with iOS 18 just being released in the market.

Colours;

The phones are expected to be released in Black, Natural, Pink, White, and Titanium finishes. This is subject to availability of stocks.
