UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Hosts Emir of Qatar for Key Talks in Abu Dhabi

Today Emir of the State of Qatar HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani was in Abu Dhabi. Emir arrived in Abu Dhabi on a fraternal visit to the UAE.

When the Emir of Qatar His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani arrived in Abu Dhabi on his presidential flight, President of UAE His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan welcomed him gracefully in UAE.

With President Sheikh Mohamed there were other officials present to welcome the guests from Qatar to UAE.

Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and President of the Presidential Court; Sheikh Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council; Lieutenant General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy PM and Minister of the Interior; and Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan welcomed Qatari team.

Apart from these Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Airports’ Board of Directors, UAE Ambassador to Qatar, Ambassador of Qatar to the UAE were also present there.

The Emir of Qatar is accompanied by Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani who is the Emir’s representative; Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani and senior officials also visited the UAE.

Why Emir of Qatar is in the UAE?

The Emir of Qatar is in UAE to discuss fraternal relations between both countries and regional development.

UAE President HH Sheikh Mohammed reviews several international and regional issues with the Qatari Emir. They discussed the concerns and humanitarian crisis in Gaza.

The Supreme Leaders of the UAE and Qatar support all cooperative initiatives and efforts to promote lasting peace based on a two-state solution to de-escalate tensions in the Gaza Strip, safeguard civilian life, and ensure regional security and stability. Expressed commitment to do so. Details emerging indicate that the two leaders discussed the ceasefire agreement proposals put forward by US President Joe Biden on Friday.

After the meeting, HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad returned to Qatar. He was seen off at the airport by the President of UAE HH Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed and several senior officials of UAE.
