Dubai to Organize Asian Youth Para Games 2025

The 5th Asian Youth Para Games will be held in Dubai from December 7 to 14, 2025, gathering young athletes with disabilities from all across Asia. The host city contract has been signed by the Asian Paralympic Committee and the Dubai Club for People of Determination, who will be responsible for leading the local organizing. The contract signing was conducted at the APC headquarters, with Majid Al Usaimi, APC President, and Thani Juma Berregad, Chairman of the Club, in attendance. The 5th Asian Youth Para Games will feature a total of 11 sports and is being held with the patronage of Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Sports Council, on behalf of Dubai. Dubai last hosted the event in 2017.

The sports event had been scheduled for Tashkent and has now come to Dubai since it faced challenges and could proceed. Al Usaimi expressed gratitude to Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and praised Dubai’s ongoing support for People of Determination and inclusive sports through the years.

He was also grateful to the Dubai Club for stepping up to host such an important event and said this demonstrates the enormous commitment of Dubai to the Paralympic Movement and youth empowerment.
