1. Metro Lines and Stations

Doha Metro system in 2025, presented in tabular format for easy reference. Data is based on the latest available information as of August 2025. Note: The Doha Metro does not operate on a zonal system like some other metros; fares are flat-rate per journey with daily caps. There are three operational lines (Red, Green, Gold), with a Blue Line under construction and expected to add stations later in 2025 or beyond.

2.Train Timings and Frequency

The Doha Metro operates with high frequency and has extended hours for passenger convenience. Trains run from 5:00 AM to 1:00 AM from Saturday to Thursday, with service starting later at 9:00 AM on Fridays. The frequency is excellent, with trains arriving approximately every 5 minutes during peak hours. This makes the metro a fast and reliable way to travel around the city.

3.Ticket Fares and Types

The Doha Metro offers an affordable and convenient way to travel. The system provides two main types of reusable travel cards: the Standard Card for general use, which costs QR 10 to purchase, and the premium Goldclub Card, which costs QR 100. A single journey on a Standard Card costs QR 2, with a daily fare cap of QR 6, while a single journey on a Goldclub Card is QR 10, with a daily cap of QR 30.
