Captain America: Brave New World premiered successfully on February 14, 2025 before becoming available on streaming services shortly. As Marvel maintains their standard release schedule the film will drop digitally before setting a specific date.
Anthony Mackie stars in the movie as Sam Wilson who officially becomes Captain America after Steve Rogers passes the shield to him in Avengers: Endgame. The new story picks up from “The Falcon and The Winter Soldier” where Sam went through his transformation to accept his Captain America role.
The movie focuses on groups worldwide who use and hide adamantium from Celestial Island before it can be discovered. The rising global pressure pushes Sam to partner with U.S. President Thaddeus Thunderbolt Ross while Harrison Ford takes on the political role once filled by William Hurt.
