How Did Blue Beetle Get Big Screen Theatrical Release?

Initially, the film Blue Beetle was supposed to be released on HBO Max, but Warner Bros. decided to upgrade it to a theatrical release.
The film’s future was uncertain due to a merger between WarnerMedia and Discovery, but it has been confirmed that Blue Beetle will be part of the new DC universe.

However, the release coincides with the SAG-AFTRA strike, so the cast members are unable to promote the film. Despite this, Soto is honoring their work and keeping them updated.
