Arab Health 2025, marking its historic 50th edition, Arab Health began on January 27 and will continue till January 30. It brings together more than 3,800 exhibitors from the healthcare industry from countries across the world.
The event hosts more than 40 country pavilions, including major participants such as the US, China, India, and the United Kingdom. Morocco and Latvia made their pavilion debut this year, along with long-standing participants like Saudi Arabia and the UK expanding their presence at the event.
Mohammed bin Rashid visits Arab Health 2025
Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, also paid a visit to Arab Health. During his visit, Mohammed bin Rashid reaffirmed the UAE’s commitment to enhancing investments in healthcare as an investment in the future. He highlighted the crucial role of technology and innovation in setting up more efficient and inclusive healthcare systems for the welfare of people across the globe.
Mohammed bin Rashid also stressed the importance of strong partnerships and the spirit of mutual collaboration in shaping a better future for humanity.
Key Technologies
During the event, participants received valuable insights into emerging healthcare trends, while solidifying Dubai’s position as a global hub for collaboration in the sector.
Among the multiple innovations and technologies that caught the eyes of the participants and observers at Arab Health, SIGNA Champion MRI Scanner by GE Healthcare, Scalp Cooling System for Chemotherapy-Induced Hair Loss by Paxman and Artificial Heart by Bivacor took the centre stage.
Women in Power
At the same time, the Arab Health 2025 event underscored the crucial role played by women in global healthcare leadership during the inaugural EmpowHER: Women in Healthcare forum. The UAE takes pride in its pursuit of gender equality, with the World Bank awarding the nation a score of 82.5 out of 100 for women’s rights in 2023.
This year’s major highlights included the debut of the World of Wellness and Healthcare ESG conferences, the Smart Hospital and Interoperability Zone, and the Transformation Zone. The event was successfully organised with the help and support of leading government entities, including the UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention, the Dubai Health Authority, the Department of Health, and the Dubai Healthcare City Authority.
Economic Significance of Arab Health 2025
Arab Health has contributed USD 269.7 million to Dubai’s economy in 2024, while boosting key sectors such as tourism, hospitality, logistics, and healthcare investments. Last year, Arab Health welcomed more than 58,000 visitors and hosted over 3,600 exhibitors from 180 countries during the 2024 edition, according to data revealed by Informa.
