Apple will host its highly anticipated “Awe Dropping” event at the Steve Jobs Theatre in Cupertino on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, starting at 10 am Pacific Time (which is 10 pm IST). This year’s event promises to be one of the biggest showstoppers of 2025, with a flurry of new hardware and AI enhancements that are expected.

The full iPhone 17 family, which includes base models, Pro, Pro Max, and the ultra-thin iPhone 17 Air, is expected to be launched by Apple. The iPhone 17 Air, with its rumoured 5.5 mm thickness and lightweight build, offers a 6.6 -or 6.7 -inch OLED display, powered by the new A19/A19 Pro chip, 12 GB RAM, and advanced cameras. Its estimated price in India starts at approximately Rs 1,20, 999 for the 256 GB variant. Most of the other models, as suggested by analysts, may retain previous pricing levels, with only the Pro possibly seeing a slight hike in price.

The new Apple Watch Series 11, Ultra 3 and possibly SE 3 are expected to be launched. Satellite texting, 5G RedCap, blood-pressure monitoring, and other health features might be upgraded. ApplePods Pro 3 are considered as the next-gen earbuds with a slimmer case, H3 chip, enhanced noise cancellation, heart-rate monitoring, and new features like live translation are expected to be launched. Apple Intelligence considered Apple’s new privacy-focused AI suite is likely to be showcased in this event. Updates to iOS 26, watchOS 26, macOS Tahoe 26, visionOS 26, and many more will also feature prominently.

There are also rumours of other possible launches of accessories and products, which include:

• AirTag 2, which is considered an add-on accessory
• A new Apple TV 4K and HomePod mini 2 might be launched, which is reserved for October
• It is unlikely that any more substantial releases like an M5 iPad Pro or Vision Pro refresh are likely to be launched for this event.
