Apple has officially confirmed that the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC25) will be held from June 9 to 13, 2025. The conference will be conducted online and will be free for developers. Apple will also have a special in-person experience at Apple Park on June 9 where invited developers and students can view the keynote, engage with Apple experts and take part in special activities.
WWDC25 will feature the latest developments in Apple’s software such as iOS, iPadOS, macOS, watchOS and tvOS. Apple is set to unveil sweeping design updates such as refreshed icons, menus and system wide updates with the focus on improving user experience.
Apple is also said to announce new hardware during the event such as the long awaited Mac Pro and AirTags second generation. There are also new updates to Apple’s artificial intelligence features especially on Siri, following past delays in AI-based upgrades.
“We’re excited to mark another incredible year of WWDC with our global developer community,” said Susan Prescott, Apple’s vice president of Worldwide Developer Relations. “We can’t wait to share the latest tools and technologies that will empower developers and help them continue to innovate.”
Developers will be able to access WWDC25 via the Apple Developer app, site and YouTube channel. The winners of the Swift Student Challenge will also be invited to attend a three day event in Cupertino.
Additional information about WWDC25 will be announced by Apple in the next few months.
