The wait is finally over for sports enthusiasts in Qatar as the Aspire Zone Foundation has officially released the schedule for the highly anticipated Ramadan Sports Festival 2026. The seventh year of the event, which will start the second week of the holy month, will be the most inclusive one ever, with a wide range of sporting activities that will be offered to encourage activity and wellness during Ramadan. The festival will be based on community involvement; it will conduct competitions in world-class venues to ensure that all ages and skills of the participants to continue to be fit as they continue to practice their fasting cultures.
10 Disciplines Headlining the Festival
The Ramadan Sports Festival 2026 has expanded its roster to include 10 disciplines, catering to a wide variety of interests. The completed program proves the reappearance of the crowd favorites such as Football and Basketball, as well as the booming sport such as Padel and Volleyball.
Table Tennis and Tennis will be done individually where their accuracy will be tested, whereas the spirit of teamwork will be elevated in the Hockey and Cricket tournaments. Inclusivity is another value of the festival as there are special Ladies Sports events and a Staff Walking event that promote corporate health. Registration is open and places are likely to be taken fast as the community prepares to the evening competitions.
Venues and Schedule Details
All 10 disciplines will be hosted across Aspire’s state-of-the-art facilities, including the Aspire Dome and the Ladies Sports Hall.
