With just days remaining until the starting gun fires, the Riyadh Marathon 2026 has officially shattered previous participation records. Saudi Sports for all federation (SFA) has just confirmed that all the categories of races are fully sold, which is a great milestone in the sport calendar of the Kingdom. Scheduled for this coming Saturday, January 31, at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University, the event has seen a massive influx of last-minute sign-ups, driving registration numbers to an all-time high. It is part of the rising interest in health and fitness among the people of Saudi Arabia and thousands of runners worldwide will flock into the capital to take part in what will be an exhilarating day of sporting and togetherness.

Record-Breaking Registration Numbers

The unprecedented demand for the Riyadh Marathon 2026 highlights the success of the SFA’s initiatives to promote physical activity. Organizers noted that the registration numbers for the full 42.2km race and the half-marathon spiked dramatically in the final 48 hours before the portal closed.
