The Asian Yogasana Sports Federation (AYSF) is organizing the event in coordination with the UAE Sports for All Federation and the UAE Yoga Committee. The championship has been planned in the city of Fujairah, with Zayed Sports Complex as its venue.
This major announcement came after an important meeting between Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and AYSF President Padmashri Nouf Al Marwaai discussing further cooperation in promoting Yoga and Yogasana in Asia, Africa, and the Arab region towards strengthening cultural and wellness ties between countries.
Before the championship, a Coaches and Referees Training Camp organized by AYSF will be held in Dubai from May 16-18, 2025. Participants from across Asia and North Africa will join the professional certification training program for Yogasana coaching and refereeingThe best Indian instructors, led by Dr. Sh. Ramesh Lohan, will be taking the training sessions for the participants.
With the slogan “Yoga Across Borders” the championship aims to bring together some 25 national federations in peace, goodwill, and cultural exchange. Nations such as India, Saudi Arabia, Palestine, Sri Lanka, and the Philippines are likely to take part.

The closing ceremony will be held alongside the Excellence Asian Awards 2025, which shall honor
individuals for their eminent contribution to Yogasana sports.
